The VISN 22 Improvement teams will share their journey to decrease healthcare acquired infections: Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI), and Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI).  

After attending this poster abstract presentation, attendees will understand how to implement and leverage a coalition framework across multiple facilities to address and reduce healthcare-associated Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI), and Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) infections.

After attending this poster abstract presentation, attendees will be able to describe the critical role of active team participation and daily monitoring in the success of just in time patient care interventions, with process changes to sustain long-term improvements in patient care outcomes.
