Mythili Ram | University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveton, TXMythili Ram is a proven leader with 20 years experience in implementing continuous improvement processes and lean management systems. She is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and works as a Performance Improvement Leader at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Prior to joining UTMB, she worked as a Network Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Continuous Improvement Manager at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, where she coached and facilitated lean six sigma initiatives to successfully improve clinical patient outcomes and operational efficiencies of the organizations. She has held key leadership positions in continuous improvement and Engineering at Halliburton and Eaton Corporation generating significant cost-savings by improving business processes.
Mythili received her MS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A & M University. More recently, she received a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Texas Permian Basin.
Jason Jack | University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveton, TX
Jason Jack currently works in UTMB as Process Improvement Specialist II. Jason graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics. He served 7 years in the United States Navy as a naval officer onboard warships. After serving his country and prior to joining UTMB, Jason worked 20 years for several oil & gas and energy companies located in the Houston area. Jason performed various supply chain and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt roles for large and small companies including General Electric.
In his role as Process Improvement Specialist II, Jason works with the UTMB Health System to deliver the best possible patient care in the most efficient and effective way. Jason is highly customer focused and strongly believes that through teamwork, camaraderie, and data-driven problem solving any process can be made better, faster, and less expensive.
