Ford Powertrain has been experiencing ergonomic concerns, due to inconsistencies & inefficiencies within material delivery strategies, namely cart & caster designs. This presentation will highlight the importance of understanding the material delivery system, what to focus on as ergonomists & the steps to take to ensure the material delivery strategy is ergonomically robust. Moving forward, this information can be leveraged to drive significant cost improvements back into the company, while most importantly, reducing ergonomic risk to the workforce.
