Ergonomics and Risk Management in Advanced Manufacturing: A Strategic Integration
Description:
As advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, and AI transform production processes, they introduce complex ergonomic challenges. This session delves into strategically embedding ergonomics within design and operational frameworks to mitigate the multifaceted physical and cognitive strains of human-machine interactions. By integrating ergonomics into comprehensive risk management strategies, organizations can proactively identify hazards, reduce injury rates, and optimize liability controls. Embedding these principles into risk protocols not only enhances workplace safety and operational efficiency but also mitigates long-term financial exposure tied to worker compensation and insurance costs, positioning organizations for sustained productivity and risk resilience.
