Biomechanics and AI: Enhancing Ergonomic Risk Analysis for Injury Prevention and Workplace Efficiency
Description:
This presentation explores how biomechanics enhances AI-powered ergonomic systems that use sensorless motion capture to assess musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risks. By analyzing biomechanical data such as posture, joint angles, and repetitive movements, the AI system produces a detailed risk analysis of workplace tasks. A strong foundation in biomechanics enables experts to accurately interpret this data, identify root causes of high-risk behaviors, and recommend targeted ergonomic improvements. Case studies from various industrial sectors will demonstrate how integrating biomechanics with AI-driven risk analysis has led to reduced MSD risks, improved workplace safety, and the implementation of sustainable ergonomic solutions.
